Seaside Vacation Homes is hiring a Part-Time Vacation Rental Housekeeper in Seaside. This isn't just clean-it-and-move-on housekeeping.

We train our housekeepers in property management and property care and generally assign them to a familiar group of vacation homes.

That means you get to know your properties, develop a groove, notice when something isn't right, and take ownership of a consistent standard-rather than constantly walking into unfamiliar homes and figuring out what someone else missed.

Get to Know Your Properties

Seaside Vacation Homes manages about 100 vacation homes and condos between Gearhart and Cannon Beach, with the majority located in Seaside.

Whenever possible, we keep housekeepers working with the same group of properties .

Once you know a home, you know where things belong, what normal looks like, what needs attention, and the most efficient way to work through it without sacrificing quality.

You're also learning more than cleaning. Our team is trained to recognize property-care issues and communicate what they see.

You get to know your homes. You build a routine. You take pride in the standard.

Some days you'll work independently in your regular properties; other days you'll work alongside teammates to prepare several homes for arriving guests.

What You'll Be Doing

Your job is straightforward: prepare clean, consistent, guest-ready vacation properties.

You'll:

• Clean and reset vacation homes and condos
• Follow established housekeeping and property standards
• Handle linens, supplies, and property resets
• Notice details requiring additional attention
• Identify and communicate property-care or maintenance concerns
• Complete assigned properties thoroughly and on time

You own your work-but you're not on an island.

Schedule & Pay

We especially need team members who can consistently work Sunday and Monday . NOTE:  If you have other life obligations but skills in this area, we still want to talk.

Our office operates between 9:30 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. , with flexible scheduling for many part-time housekeeping shifts.

Employees may work 10–20+ hours per week , with additional hours depending on availability and business needs.

Compensation is hourly with budgets and support, not piecework.

Training pay can last anywhere from two days to two months; it depends on your abilities. Experienced staff qualify for performance-based and seasonal bonus opportunities. 

Experience That Can Translate Well

Professional housekeeping experience is welcome, but we're willing to train the right person .

Experience in residential cleaning, maid service, hotel housekeeping, room attendant work, vacation rental cleaning, laundry, custodial work, property management, or property care can translate well.

No professional experience? Don't automatically count yourself out.

If you naturally notice what needs cleaning or attention, are dependable, and care about doing things correctly, we can teach our process.

A good eye and pride in your work matter here.

What We Need From You

• A reliable vehicle to get to work that is not shared with another person
• A valid driver's license
• An established residence on the North Coast or a definite transition plan, such as an established lease
• Ability to meet the requirements of our Drug-Free Workplace , including testing
• A clean driving record if you'd like future opportunities involving Operations or Guest Services

Reliability matters. Guests are arriving whether someone shows up for work or not, and your teammates need to be able to count on you.
