(CMO) Intel Ops Support Sr (TS/SCI with Poly Required)

At GCI, we solve the hard problems. As an Intel Ops Support, a typical day will include the following duties:

1. The resource shall anticipate consumer needs, as well as educate consumers and other mission partners on methods, handling, and use of HUMINT and technical collection reporting.
2. The resource shall apply collection management expertise against targets.
3. The resource shall author and coordinate on cable traffic and intelligence reports generated through required exploitation or Collection Management Officer functions.
4. The resource shall develop rapport and communicate with customer offices and partners.
5. The resource shall evaluate the effectiveness of sources and methods, and the handling of HUMINT and technical collection to validate reporting.
6. The resource shall manage the production, sharing, and use of intelligence reports.
7. The resource shall work to disseminate information from technical and bulk data collections.
8. The resource shall work with other customer offices and U.S. Government agencies to drive technical collection and HUMINT projects.
9. The resource shall evaluate information for completeness, validity, relevance, quality, and sensitivity.
10. The resource shall respond to internal team and stakeholder inquires, as well as regularly support, involve, and liaise with other internal teams.

Description

GCI is looking for a highly motivated and experienced Intelligence Operations Support to join our team. The ideal candidate is responsible for gathering, analyzing, and disseminating intelligence information to support decision-making at all levels of the organization. This includes collecting, triaging, and reviewing information from a variety of sources. The Intelligence Analyst then analyzes this information to identify trends, patterns, and threats. Finally, the Intelligence Analyst disseminates this information to decision-makers in a clear and concise way.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Demonstrated experience supporting IC cyber activities, intelligence reporting, and projects.
• Demonstrated experience and possess basic working knowledge of cyber and digital media exploitation techniques and trends.
• Demonstrated experience understanding of or familiarity with customer systems.
• Demonstrated experience understanding customer collection techniques and projects. Experience evaluating CI and potential D&D projects, digital collections, and big data.
• Demonstrated experience in writing customer communications and familiarity with the types of IC intelligence reports and dissemination mechanisms.
• Demonstrated experience and the ability to work with mission partners in a variety of offices and USG agencies to drive technical collections and HUMINT projects and to leverage best practices across programs.
• Demonstrated experience as a customer collection management officer (CMO) with current knowledge of customer collection priorities and projects.
• Demonstrated experience of customer collection techniques.

Desired Skills and Abilities

• Demonstrated experience and possess basic working knowledge of telecommunications, virtual projects, cyber activities, and technical projects.
• Demonstrated experience working, understanding, and measuring complex relationships and have a background in identifying intelligence from disparate technical information sources.
• Demonstrated experience in the guidelines and objectives for appropriate handling of digital data throughout the data lifecycle.
• Demonstrated experience and the ability to follow leads, work with complex digital data, and thrive in an environment without clear policy guidance.
• Demonstrated experience of familiarity with computer files structures, in particular Windows operation systems, the typical locations of documents, metadata, directory walks, and directories of fixed media.
• Demonstrated experience of familiarity with various file types and the programs require to open them.
• Demonstrated experience and possess knowledge and understanding of technical communications and their uses, including mobile devices, internet communications and electronic media.
• Demonstrated experience and familiarly with bulk data and bulk data reporting issues.
• Demonstrated experience with at least 2 years' experience exploiting digital data or summarizing cyber information.
• Demonstrated experience with certification or training in Data Governance.
• Demonstrated experience and with a minimum of 5 years demonstrated experience as a collection management officer, writing cables and intelligence reports.
• Demonstrated experience and must have experience working, understanding and measuring relationships and have a background in identifying intelligence from disparate information sources.
• Demonstrated experience with technical reporting, especially computer network exploitation requirements.
• Demonstrated experience and willingness to learn how to exploit from technical collections.
• Demonstrated experience of excellent oral and written communications skills, and ability to understand and communicate to various customers/audiences on both tactical and strategic issues.
• Demonstrated experience and the ability to work independently and with a team, demonstrating excellent discretion, integrity and sound judgment.

• BA/BS (or equivalent experience)

• 5-7 years of experience

A candidate must be a US Citizen and requires an active/current TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance.
