This onsite position spans 35 hours per week and is set to start as soon as possible, extending through June 4, 2027. The role involves collaborating closely with educators, families, and students, with specific caseload details to be determined upon assignment.
Qualifications & Experience Sought:
- Active Illinois SLP license required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
- PEL (Professional Educator License) required for school-based roles
- Previous experience in a school environment strongly desired
- Ability to adapt therapy strategies to meet diverse student needs
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
Role Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and identify students with communication disorders
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans
- Work collaboratively with teachers, special education teams, and parents
- Maintain accurate records and document student progress
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary assessments
- Provide direct and consultative services as needed
