Site Operations & Maintenance Manager Location: Wallops Island, VA. Remote Status: On‑Site. Job ID: 4226. # of Openings: 1. Contingent Upon Contract Award and Customer Approval. Purpose Valkyrie Enterprises has an immediate need for a full‑time Site Operations & Maintenance Manager to oversee the requirements of the Statement of Work (SOW) in Wallops Island, VA. Job Description Assists with various electronic systems such as C4I, Combat Systems, Communication Systems, etc. Responsibilities include system design, integration, modification, testing, installation engineering, and design engineering; developing and reviewing equipment test plans and procedures; conducting analyses, analyzing test results, and recommending design changes to bring systems into compliance with design/performance specifications. Adjusts and correlates data, recognizes discrepancies in results, and follows operations through a series of detailed steps or processes. Coordinates, computes, or synthesizes engineering or technical data. Uses prescribed mathematical formulae and/or models to calculate performance characteristics for electronic systems. Supervises technical staff assigned to the project. Trains project personnel in procedures and approaches available for the work effort. Qualifications High School or GED and at least 12 years of combined experience with Aegis and SSDS Mk2 combat systems management. Experience in all facets of programmatic management related to combat systems engineering, readiness, training, and operations, including responsibility for managing technical performance, reliability, maintainability, cost, schedule, and delivery requirements. Security Requirements Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance. Preferred: Active DoD Secret security clearance. Travel Requirements Occasional travel up to 25%. If position requires domestic flight or access to secure federal facilities/military bases, candidate must be able to obtain (by start of position) and maintain appropriate identification credentials, such as REAL ID.
