HSE Manager

HSE / EHS Manager (manufacturing) on site - Fraser, Michigan
Zing Recruiting has partnered with a top automotive parts company to fill a direct hire position as the Environment, Health and Safety Manager. Incoming candidate should be both proactive and autonomous AND have experience in both union and non-union environments. Should have experience with ISO14001 or ISO 45001. As the manager, you will play a vital role in ensuring compliance with regulations, fostering a culture of health and safety, and contributing to company's sustainable future.

Requirements Include :

• Bachelor's or Master's degree with focus on EHS, Industrial or relatable
• 5+ years experience management in EHS
• 5+ years experience in manufacturing
• Experience in both union and non-union environments

Responsibilities include:

• Engage with the HSE site department and site employees for a united safety front.
• Collaborate with internal medical and occupational health teams.
• Work seamlessly with external partners for safety and sustainability alignment.
• Have experience and knowledge of the tools and methodologies HSE necessary to evaluate and prevent the security and environmental risks and impacts: risk analysis, data collection, problem solving, etc.,
• Knowledge of the national regulations and standards specific to the scope of this role
• Internal lead-auditor in terms of HSE management systems,

Pay is up to 150k depending on experience with an annual bonus.
