Clinical Research Specialist 1 - Oncology & Sickle Cell Inova Schar Cancer Research is looking for a dedicated Clinical Research Specialist 1 - Oncology & Sickle Cell to join the Team. This hybrid role will be full-time day-shift working Monday - Friday located in Fairfax, VA. The Clinical Research Specialist 1 - Oncology & Sickle Cell assists investigators and research staff in the conduct of clinical research studies. Performs a variety of research, data, and clerical duties of a routine and technical nature to support the conduct of clinical research. Clinical Research Specialist 1 - Oncology & Sickle Cell Responsibilities Assists in the preparation and submission of regulatory documents to the study sponsor and IRB, as required by the protocol and regulatory requirements. Assist in the conduct and documentation of study visits and protocol-specific testing/interviews according to the study protocol. Assists the research team in completing case report forms accurately and according to the protocol. Completes study procedures, as relevant to training and certification. May perform other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications Education: High School or GED Preferred Qualifications Previous experience entering, reviewing, and maintaining accurate data in electronic systems preferred. Proficiency using electronic databases, data management systems, and Microsoft Office applications preferred.
