Description

American Traveler seeks a Certified Surgical Technologist for a seasonal travel assignment in a hospital Spine and Total Joint OR, requiring current hospital CST experience and large spinal fusion case experience.

Details

• Work in a Spine and Total Joint OR unit with 9 ORs for Spine and Joint plus 4 for the International Hip Preservation Center
• Team includes approximately 60 staff, with 8-11 rooms staffed daily on weekdays
• Day shift schedule with weekend coverage on call only
• Night call required from 5P-11P Monday through Friday, no overnight shifts required
• Uses Meditech EMR
• Performs procedures including spine fusions, ALIFs, all spine cases, and total joint replacements
• On-call required with a 30-minute response time

Requirements

• Minimum of 6 months current hospital CST experience within the last 6 months
• BLS certification required (AHA or ARC accepted)
• DORA and NBSTA certifications must be currently active
• Must be certified and hold state license as required, license required if applicable
• Experience with large spinal fusions including ALIF, OLIF, DLIF, ACDF, and ACDR
• Spine and joint scrub experience preferred
• No gaps in work history equaling 90 days or more in the past 12 months
• US SSN and DOB required for consideration
