Security Clearance: None/Not Required What You Will Do The Materials Shop Floor Control Specialist is responsible for driving materials transformation initiatives and building a strategic materials management architecture. Tasks include releasing materials, managing handling methods, kitting, and material movement following line back logistics principles. Provide leadership and direction, emphasizing change management. Execute strategies and oversee activities across multiple organizations. Establish and enforce standards and expectations for work effort and performance, providing constant feedback. Implement lean manufacturing measures to balance value streams and shop operations. Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and other organizations to ensure customer satisfaction. Communicate requirements that support processes to ensure smooth production flow. Establish system architecture designs that consider customer requirements, resource availability, and priorities. Qualifications You Must Have Bachelor's degree and at least 5 years of experience in engineering, manufacturing operations, materials management/planning, quality, or related environments; or a Master's degree and at least 3 years of experience in similar fields. Alternatively, a high school diploma/GED with 9 or more years of relevant experience. Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite. Qualifications We Prefer Bachelor's degree. Aerospace industry experience. Experience utilizing SAP operating system. Experience with Solumina. Experience with Power BI and Oracle Data Management tables. Advanced knowledge of materials management strategies, Lean manufacturing system design, and shop floor management. Knowledge of continuous improvement principles such as Lean manufacturing, CORE, QCPC. CPIM certification or willingness to earn it. Salary and Benefits Salary range: $86,800 - $165,200 USD.
