Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts | 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (occasional 3:00 PM – 3:00 AM shifts as needed) | Every other weekend and holiday coverage expected | No call required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a high-acuity Emergency Room setting serving all age populations
• Care for special populations including cancer, sepsis, medical emergencies, and behavioral health patients
• Support a facility with specialties including cath lab, women's health, and stroke care, including STEMI and Stroke response
• Document and manage patient care using EPIC EMR
• Float to other campus locations within the health system as needed
• Complete a compliance EKG exam (2 attempts allowed) and unit-based orientation modules prior to independent practice

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in hand at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and PALS certifications required
• EPIC EMR experience required
• STEMI and Stroke facility experience required
• No open background cases permitted; third-party education verification required
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible; valid driver's license required to verify address
• Time-off requests must be submitted with the application; no post-submission requests accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience caring for behavioral health patients in an emergency setting
• Familiarity with cath lab or women's health support workflows
• Previous travel nursing experience (first-time travelers are welcome to apply)
