Job Description We have an immediate opening in our Alameda, West Sacramento, or San Jose, California office for a Staff or Senior Staff-Level Environmental Professional to assist with the following tasks: Conducting various field tasks comprised of site reconnaissance, soil and groundwater sampling, borehole logging, well installation, air monitoring, coordination and oversight of subcontractor. Preparing daily field reports. Various office tasks comprised of data compilation, review and assimilation of historic information and environmental databases. Assisting with report preparation and other project documents. Phone/email contact/coordination with subcontractor/vendor. Phone/email contact related to interviews and discussions with site owner/users. Management of tasks and task budgets. Qualifications Education: Bachelor's Degree in Geology, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field. Certification: Current OSHA HAZWOPER training. Other certifications and registrations are a plus. Experience in environmental-related work, including field tasks such as: Site reconnaissance Soil, soil vapor and groundwater sampling Borehole logging Monitoring well installation Air monitoring Coordination and oversight of subcontractors Preparation of daily field reports Experience with office-based project tasks, including: Data compilation Review and assimilation of historical information and environmental databases Assisting with report preparation and project documentation Phone and email coordination with subcontractors and vendors Phone and email coordination with site owners/users for interviews and discussions Management of project tasks and task budgets Experience working on construction sites (preferred). Strong foundational writing skills. Effective interpersonal and communication skills. Familiarity with ASTM E1527-21 and ASTM E1903-11 standards. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with support teams. Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel. Additional Information Salary Range: $75,000-85,000, depending on experience.
