Assignment Overview

• Start : August 2026
• Duration : ~3 months (through mid-November) with potential to extend
• Schedule : Monday–Friday | 7:00a–3:30p
• Call : None
• Setting : Hospital-based OR
• Volume : ~50–60 cases/day across the department

Clinical Scope

• Full-spectrum pediatric anesthesia (neonatal → adolescent, with some adult exposure)
• Broad case mix includes:
  • General pediatric surgery
  • Complex orthopedics
  • Neurosurgery
  • Thoracic (non-cardiac)
• Mix of:
  • Hands-on cases
  • Supervising CRNAs in a care team model
• Excludes cardiac and transplant cases

Practice Environment

• Level I pediatric trauma setting
• ~14 ORs with strong case volume
• Large, collegial anesthesia team

Requirements

• Board Certified in Pediatric Anesthesiology
• Active Ohio license (or ability to obtain)
• BLS, ACLS, PALS required
• Comfortable with:
  • Neonatal + pediatric cases
  • Complex surgical environments
  • Care team supervision

Compensation

• Highly competitive 1099 rates — negotiable based on coverage & commitment
