Veterinary Technician We’re hiring a Veterinary Technician for our growing animal hospital. How You’ll Make a Difference Assist the doctor with medical procedures, including surgery, under direct supervision, and provide high quality care to all pets. Deliver exceptional customer service to clients and their pets. Assist in surgery care: pre‑anesthetic protocol, anesthesia monitoring, and post‑operative care. Communicate written and verbal care information to clients, answer questions, educate, and obtain consent for treatment plans. Manage medical records through practice management software. Dispense medication; perform X‑rays, blood draws, place catheters, obtain samples, provide treatments, run diagnostic equipment, administer vaccines, and provide animal restraint as needed. Set‑up, breakdown, clean, and maintain medical equipment. Assist with cleaning all areas of the hospital. How You’ll Succeed Comfortable interacting with animals of all types with calm and compassion. Strong interpersonal and oral communication skills. Ability to lift at least 40 pounds. Certified veterinary technician (preferred). Associate degree in veterinary assisting (preferred).
