Your Responsibilities

• Performing thorough patient evaluations, ordering diagnostic tests, and developing tailored care programs
• Diagnosing and managing acute, episodic, or chronic conditions in collaboration with supervising physicians or independently, depending on your credentials
• Educating patients and their families about prevention, wellness, and chronic condition management
• Prescribing medications and treatments within your practice scope
• Engaging in patient follow-up and chronic care management
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic patient care
• Maintaining accurate documentation in electronic medical records (EMR)

Qualifications

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner training program

Essential Certifications

• Current Nurse Practitioner licensure in California
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP, or ANCC) or an equivalent specialty
• Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or the ability to obtain within 90 days)
