We are seeking a dedicated, organized, and hands-on Kitchen Supervisor to lead our dietary team in providing nutritious, high-quality meals to our residents. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys leading others, maintaining high standards, and creating a welcoming dining experience for seniors.

Key Responsibilities

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Plan, develop, and implement nutritious, appealing menus that meet residents' dietary needs.
• Update and rotate menus seasonally to provide variety and fresh offerings.
• Supervise, train, schedule, and support all kitchen staff ensuring schedule is adequately covered.
• Ensure compliance with all food safety, sanitation, and health department regulations.
• Manage food ordering, inventory, and vendor relationships.
• Maintain food and labor costs while operating within the department budget.
• Prepare meals and assist with food production as needed.
• Cover kitchen shifts when staffing shortages occur to ensure uninterrupted meal service.
• Foster a positive, respectful, and team-oriented work environment.
• Work collaboratively with administration and nursing staff to meet residents' nutritional needs and accommodate special diets.

Qualifications

• Previous supervisory experience in a commercial kitchen, healthcare, senior living, or food service environment preferred.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
• Ability to multitask, solve problems, and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Reliable, dependable, and willing to lead by example.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed to support the team.
