Description

We are seeking an experienced CRNA to join a dynamic, supportive team at HCA – Kendall Regional Medical Center in Miami, Florida. This is a high-volume, multidisciplinary anesthesia role covering general surgery, robotics, orthopedic, trauma, burns, neuro, plastics, and healthy pediatric cases. The position requires weekend call coverage and offers a collaborative and autonomous work environment under an experienced MD team.

Candidates must meet strict geographic and prior employment eligibility requirements.

About the Facility

Medical Center is a well-equipped, high-acuity medical center. The anesthesia team is led by Chief CRNA Michael Barrios and is described as collaborative, fun, and highly supportive. MD supervision is present, but experienced providers enjoy significant autonomy once established.

• Trauma Level 1

• 15 Operating Rooms, 4 Endoscopy, 2 Cath Labs, 2 OB

• OB deliveries: ~200 per month

• EMR: Ipro

• Young, engaged CRNA team

Compensation

Job Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia care across multiple specialties including robotics, ortho, general surgery, trauma, neuro, plastics, burns, GYN, OB, and healthy pediatrics

• Manage cases autonomously under MD supervision once established

• Participate in weekend beeper call rotation:
  • 2 weekend days per month (Saturday and Sunday)

  • Call schedule cycles through 2nd–6th positions with varying hours (10–24 hours)

  • 2nd and 3rd are 24-hour beeper calls; 4th–6th vary from 10–14 hours

• Ensure safe anesthesia care according to hospital protocols

• Maintain compliance with documentation and EMR standards

Qualifications

• Board Certified CRNA required

• Active Florida ARNP License

• Minimum 2 years of experience post-graduation

• No malpractice or background history

• Must meet geographic and prior employment restrictions:
  • No work for Affiliated sites within past 12 months if living within 75 miles

  • No work at this site or affiliated sites in past 24 months

  • New candidates must live outside a 75-mile radius of the site

  • Cannot reside in Broward, Palm Beach, or Miami-Dade counties

Working Hours

• Monday through Friday: 12-hour day shifts

• Minimum 16 shifts per month

• Weekend call: 2 weekend days per month

• On-call required for weekends as described
