Job TitleResponsibilities (will include but are not limited to the following):Follow a daily structured account call list and structured rotation frequencyWeekend hours: Monday, Tuesday & Friday - 8:00 A.M. until route is complete, or as directed by lead merchandiserSaturday, Sunday - 4:30 A.M. until route is complete, or as directed by lead merchandiserHolidays as requiredDevelop and maintain good working relationship with all customer managers, employees and receiving clerksEnsure product freshness standards of ALL products in all assigned accountsRepairing damaged product and packages in the market to maintain high company standards and package integrityVerify all paper and permanent Point of Sale materials (P.O.S.), both exterior and interior, are current and in good visual conditionBuild displays, organize shelf sets, organizing and rotating cold box, and other merchandising activities, as communicated by Team LeaderCompany vehicle: Maintain a clean and organized vehiclePick up assigned vehicle Friday morning and return at the end of route on MondayComplete all assigned training requirementsWork with Team Leader to resolve customer service issuesReport out-of-stock issues to Lead Merchandiser or Team LeaderSafety awareness and prevention is the duty of all employees. As an employee of Eagle Distributing, it is incumbent of you to think safe, be safe, act safe and be aware of all situations that could put safety in jeopardy to any employee or our customers. Perform pre- and post-trip inspections on company vehicles. Follow all traffic laws, ordinances and regulations of Local, State, Federal and Company.QualificationsMust be 21 years of ageValid driver's licenseSafe driving recordHighly self-motivated and results oriented with the ability to set priorities, coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously, and be attentive to detailsProfessional conduct and organizational skillsAvailable to work weekends Friday through Tuesday, as early as 4:30 A.M., as well as on holidays, as neededStrong customer service skills and the ability to work in a team environmentStrong verbal and written communication skillsPhysical requirements include: Repetitive bending, lifting up to 20 lbs, pulling/pushing up to 250 pounds on a two-wheeler, hanging point of sale merchandiseWork Experience RequirementsPrior merchandising experience preferredEducation RequirementsHigh school diploma or GED certificate required
