Property Maintenance Technician

Job Summary We are seeking a Property Maintenance Technician for a full-time, direct hire opportunity supporting affordable housing communities throughout Oxnard, Santa Paula, Simi Valley, and Piru, CA. This role is ideal for an experienced maintenance professional who enjoys hands‑on repair work, takes pride in keeping properties safe and well maintained, and wants a stable Monday‑Friday schedule with strong benefits. The Property Maintenance Technician will support apartment maintenance, unit turnovers, preventative maintenance, resident service requests, and general property upkeep across multiple communities. Key Responsibilities Perform general maintenance repairs including plumbing, electrical, painting, carpentry, drywall, and other building repairs. Complete apartment turnovers and prepare vacant units for new resident occupancy. Conduct daily inspections of buildings, grounds, common areas, and property amenities to ensure cleanliness, safety, and curb appeal. Respond to resident maintenance requests and assist with move‑in, move‑out, and bi‑annual inspections. Coordinate with vendors and contractors for property repairs, services, and special maintenance projects. Maintain maintenance logs, inventory records, equipment records, and complete emergency after‑hours maintenance when needed. Compensation and Benefits Pay: $21 to $23 per hour, depending on experience. Job Type: Direct Hire. Schedule: Full-time, Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM.
