Senior Data Engineer
Our client, a leading organization in the financial services industry, is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join their team. As a Senior Data Engineer, you will be part of the Data Analytics Department supporting cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, excellent communication, and a proactive mindset.
Location: Phoenix, Arizona
Schedule: 3x on site per week
Rate: 85-90/hr W2
Type: Contract
Duration: until EOY, December 2026
What's the Job?
- Analyze financial data processing workflows and translate business requirements into scalable technical data solutions.
- Perform detailed source-to-target data mapping, gap analysis, and implement transformation logic for credit card and financial data products.
- Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines and data integration processes supporting enterprise reporting and analytics.
- Define processing specifications including data volumes, performance, scalability, and security requirements for distributed data platforms.
- Collaborate with engineering, finance, and source system teams to design data architecture that supports accounting, reporting, and analytical workloads.

- Proven experience in data engineering, especially in financial data environments.
- Strong knowledge of data pipeline development, data integration, and ETL processes.
- Experience with designing scalable data architectures and processing specifications.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively across teams and communicate complex technical concepts effectively.
