ITSM Configuration Management II (ServiceNow)
A mission-driven organization is seeking an ITSM Configuration Management professional to support and enhance IT Service Management processes within a ServiceNow environment. This role is focused on configuration management governance, process improvement, and maintaining a reliable system of record for IT services and relationships.

Responsibilities:

• Own and manage ITIL Configuration Management processes, including CMS, CMDB, and CSDM
• Govern and maintain ServiceNow CMDB to ensure data accuracy and integrity
• Analyze, design, and improve ITSM processes and workflows
• Support build, testing, training, and documentation of ITSM standards and procedures
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance service lifecycle processes
• Develop and track metrics, quality standards, and performance improvements
• Lead or support ITSM-related projects and strategic initiatives
• Ensure CMDB serves as a reliable source of truth for IT services and relationships
• Support decision-making through accurate configuration data and reporting

Qualifications:

• Strong experience with ServiceNow, specifically CMDB, CMS, and CSDM
• Solid understanding of ITIL framework and ITSM processes
• Experience in configuration management governance and process improvement
• Background in ITSM process analysis, design, and implementation
• Experience with documentation, metrics, and quality assurance practices
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder collaboration abilities
• This is not a developer role; configuration-focused experience required
