MRI Technologist Position

Seeking an experienced MRI Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging procedures in an outpatient setting. The ideal candidate will operate various MRI equipment, ensuring high-quality images for accurate diagnosis while adhering to safety standards.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct MRI scans using Phillips, Siemens, and Toshiba systems.
• Prepare patients for imaging procedures, explaining the process and answering questions.
• Operate and troubleshoot MRI equipment to obtain diagnostic-quality images.
• Maintain accurate documentation within EMR and PACS systems.
• Adhere to all safety and regulatory standards, including NYS Radiologic License and BLS certification.
• Collaborate with medical staff to ensure optimal patient care and workflow.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid NYS Radiologic License and current BLS certification.
• Possess a minimum of 2 years of MRI technologist experience.
• Demonstrate proficiency with Phillips, Siemens, Toshiba MRI equipment, and EMR/PACS systems.
• Maintain ARRT certification, or equivalent, including RT and MRI credentials.
• Capable of managing patient care and providing excellent communication skills.
