Bring your expertise as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to an exciting full-time contract opportunity supporting students across a district near Monument, CO. This rewarding position is ideal for an SLP committed to helping students thrive, offering variety by working with caseloads across multiple school sites. Caseload specifics will be shared during the interview process to ensure your strengths align with the needs of the district.
Qualifications and Desired Skills:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid state SLP license or eligibility to obtain
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
- Previous experience in a school setting is preferred but not required
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and indirect speech and language services to students in both group and individual settings
- Conduct assessments, develop IEP goals, and monitor student progress
- Collaborate closely with other professionals, teachers, and families
- Document therapy services and maintain all required records in compliance with school and federal regulations
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team decision-making
- Implement evidence-based therapy interventions supportive of each student’s needs
