Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical

Location: Salem, VA

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: 19:00 - 07:00

Job Description: We are seeking dedicated Registered Nurses for our Medical Surgical unit. You will provide care for post-operative patients, ensuring they receive the highest standard of nursing care.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive care for post-operative patients.
• Maintain and manage patient drains.
• Perform wound care and dressing changes.
• Advocate for patients, ensuring their needs are met in a fast-paced environment.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Active RN license in the state of Virginia.
• BLS certification is mandatory.
• Experience with post-operative patients is preferred.
• Competency in wound care and drain management is desirable.
