Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,090 - $2,200
• Location: Bridgeton, NJ (08302) - Southern New Jersey nursing jobs
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks (travel nurse assignment)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Shift: Every Saturday and Sunday (Weekend ER RN)
• Holiday Coverage: None required
• Remote Time Off (RTO): No more than 3 days accepted

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of recent Emergency Department (ED) experience - strong emergency nurse background
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
• One or more prior travel nursing contract assignments completed
• Experience in high-volume, fast-paced Emergency Departments preferred
• Active New Jersey RN license or Compact RN license
• Current AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications (no pending/expiring within 30 days)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a busy Emergency Department (ER RN responsibilities)
• Triage, assess, and manage acute and emergent patient presentations, including trauma and cardiac cases
• Respond quickly and effectively to acute medical situations and codes
• Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, techs, and multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
• Participate in unit-based orientation and required classes, including point-of-care testing (POCT)
• Complete HealthStream modules and in-person badge appointment as part of onboarding
• Maintain compliance with facility policies, procedures, and documentation standards
