Step into an impactful role supporting K-5 and some preschool students as a School Psychologist on a contract assignment this fall. This opportunity provides a chance to work in a welcoming educational environment, filling in for team members on maternity leave, and making a real difference for young learners near Middletown, OH.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid Ohio School Psychologist credential required
- Experience with K-5 and preschool-aged students strongly preferred
- Ability to support a wide range of disabilities and learning needs
- Skilled in assessment, consultation, and direct/indirect student support
- Comfortable collaborating with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Professionalism, flexibility, and organizational strengths essential
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive school psychology services to K-5 and preschool students during colleagues’ maternity leaves
- Conduct assessments, develop intervention strategies, and contribute to IEP planning
- Offer consultation and collaboration to teachers and staff
- Assist families in navigating special education processes and available resources
- Engage in data-driven decision-making to help maximize student success
- Maintain documentation and reports in alignment with district and state standards
Assignment Details:
- Contract positions: Two openings to cover separate maternity leaves
- Full-time, 35 hours per week
- Approximate assignment windows: August to late October
- Flexible interview scheduling based on your availability
