Development Associate - Renewable Energy A leading independent power generation company with a national footprint is seeking a junior-level Associate to join its Renewable Energy Development team. With offices across the U.S., the organization leverages strong financial backing and advanced energy technologies to support the transition to a more modern and sustainable power grid. This position is based in the greater Boston, MA area. The ideal candidate will play a hands‑on role in advancing early‑stage (greenfield) renewable energy projects through various phases of development. This is a great opportunity for a self‑starter who thrives in a fast‑paced environment and is eager to take initiative while collaborating across multiple teams. This role reports directly to senior leadership within the renewable energy group. Key Responsibilities Assist in identifying and evaluating potential sites for new renewable energy projects Support projects from early‑stage development through the start of construction Coordinate with internal teams such as engineering, finance, legal, commercial/origination, regulatory affairs, and asset management Work alongside external partners and consultants throughout the development lifecycle Track and communicate project milestones, budgets, and key action items to leadership Qualifications Bachelor's degree required; preferred fields include engineering, finance, or business 1‑2 years of relevant experience, ideally within the energy or renewable sector Strong initiative with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills Analytical mindset with the ability to synthesize complex information Willingness to travel approximately 30‑50% as needed #J-18808-Ljbffr
