We have an outstanding team and culture! Job Summary/Description: WSMV4 in Nashville is looking for an experienced multimedia journalist who excels at enterprising stories. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who knows how to develop sources and dig for news. Duties/Responsibilities include (but are not limited to): Develop and pitch unique enterprise stories daily Shoot, write, edit, and present compelling stories, either solo or with a photographer Optimize story presentation for each WSMV news platform Participate in daily editorial decisions Qualifications/Requirements: At least two years of experience as a multimedia journalist Excellent live reporting skills Strong writing and storytelling skills and editorial judgment Ability to shoot and edit on deadline Understanding of digital and social platforms Clean driving record Four-year college degree Additional Info: WSMV-TV/Gray Media is a drug-free company Gray Media provides equal employment opportunities (EEO) to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, or genetics.
