About the Position

Job Title: RN - OR Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Shift Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years of current hospital acute care OR experience License: Valid RN license Certifications: BLS & ACLS Must-Have: Candidates must have current hospital acute care OR experience. Description: This is a travel RN position in the Operating Room. The unit consists of 23 operating rooms with 70 staff members. Day shift staffing includes a charge nurse, several RNs, CNAs, and sitters. Patient ratios on night shifts are 1:1. The equipment utilized includes an electronic medical record system. Elective surgical cases performed include ortho, spine, general, cardiothoracic, plastics, gynecology, robotics, and urology. No trauma cases are handled in this unit. Candidates should possess flexibility and a strong ability to work in a team environment. Preferred experience includes ortho, spine, and cardiovascular cases.
