You assist bartenders and other beverage staff while learning core functions of responsible beverage service. Your attention to cleanliness, efficiency, and teamwork directly contributes to a high-quality guest experience and smooth department performance.Essential Functions and Responsibilities:Provide timely and courteous guest service consistent with the company's guest service cultureClean and sanitize assigned beverage stations and maintain cleanliness of bar tops, equipment, and any other areas assigned by managementStock consumable and non-consumable bar supplies, including garnishes and glasswareAssist bartenders with service and preparation while learning responsible beverage handlingMaintain accurate inventory records and follow proper procedures for liquor handlingFollow all applicable cash handling procedures and InfoGenesis POS protocolsEnsure compliance with all applicable gaming laws and company internal controls, policies and procedures, Title 31, and federal regulations, if they apply to the positionProvide outstanding guest service in a timely manner to both guests and fellow team members that meets the company's guest service culture standardsPerform other duties as assignedQualifications:6 months of apprentice bartender experience and/or equivalent experience preferredAbility to follow instructions and complete tasks accurately in a fast-paced environmentStrong communication skills and willingness to work as part of a teamCommitted to fostering a respectful, inclusive, and safety-conscious work environmentRequirements:At least 21 years of ageHigh School Diploma or equivalent preferredAbility to effectively communicate in English, both written and verbalObtain and maintain all work cards as required by the companyVerify right to work in the United StatesWork Cards:Required based on property location or regional regulationsPhysical Requirements:Regularly push/pull up to 50lbs.Regularly lift and/or carry up to 50lbs. at floor, knee, waist, and chest levelsFrequently squat, kneel, reach, bend, twistOccasionally sit and work at a desk or computerFrequently standing and walkingAbility to communicate using in-person speech, radios, and telephoneAbility to hear, understand, and distinguish speech and/or other sound in personAbility to distinguish between shades of colorAbility to use tools or equipment requiring a high degree of dexterityWork Environment Potential Conditions:IndoorSmokyNoisyBright flashing lightsExtreme HeightsExtreme hot cold temperaturesSlippery surfacesExposure to dust, fumes and/or gasesDisclaimer:The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by people assigned to this classification.
