Working out of Bloomfield, New Jersey, you'll be part of a supportive team that emphasizes patient-centered care and coordinates with other healthcare professionals to ensure that patients receive comprehensive and effective treatment.Key ResponsibilitiesUtilize your orthopedic expertise daily to develop and implement individualized treatment plans aimed at maximizing patient function and independence.Perform comprehensive evaluations and assessments, employing a range of orthopedic physical therapy techniques tailored to each client's specific needs.Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as necessary, ensuring compliance with established protocols and professional standards.Supervise and mentor physical therapist assistants and support staff to enhance the quality of care provided, fostering a cohesive team environment.Document patient evaluations, treatment plans, and progress notes accurately and timely in compliance with regulatory and organizational standards.Promote patient education on self-management strategies and provide guidance on exercises and activities to enhance recovery and prevent further injury.Maintain a culture of safety by adhering to best practices in physical therapy and supporting hospital initiatives that align with Tria's mission and values.Patient Population / Client FocusOur patient population ranges from adolescents to older adults, with a significant emphasis on individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, injuries, or chronic conditions. Some specialized roles may also engage with pediatric patients, requiring adaptations in therapy approaches to meet their unique development needs. You will play a crucial role in facilitating their journey towards regaining function and improving their quality of life.QualificationsA Bachelor's degree from an accredited physical therapy program is required; a Master's degree is preferred.Active state licensure or certification in physical therapy is mandatory for practice within New Jersey.A minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in orthopedic physical therapy is required.Proficient in using contemporary physical therapy assessment and treatment methodologies, especially in orthopedic contexts.Excellent communication skills, enabling effective interactions with patients, families, and multidisciplinary team members.Preferred ExperienceExperience working in home health care settings is desirable, providing insight into patient-centered care within diverse environments.Certification in CPR is highly recommended unless stated otherwise by hospital policy.Solid understanding of compliance regulations and best practices to ensure patient safety and care quality.Compensation and BenefitsAt Tria Orthopedics, we offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, reflecting your experience and expertise in the field.
