Job Summary
Cardiac Cath Lab Nurse Location: not specified. This position involves working within a specialized cardiac catheterization laboratory to provide high-quality patient care during diagnostic and interventional procedures. The role requires working rotating shifts, including call duties, in a fast-paced acute care setting.

Job Details

• Position Description: Responsible for assisting with procedures such as Cath - Diagnostics (Left and Right hearts), PCIs, CTOs, Impellas/IABPs, Structural Heart interventions including TAVR, Watchman, Mitral Clip, PFO/ASD closures, EP studies and device implants, IR procedures like Peripheral interventions, Stroke treatments, TIPS/DIPS, Embolizations, Thrombolysis, and drainage procedures. Utilizes equipment such as EPIC CUPID and MCKESSON.
• Required Qualifications: Oregon or non-Oregon licensed RN with BLS and ACLS certifications. Critical Care or Cath Lab/special procedures experience minimum 1 year.
• Schedule: Rotating shifts, 10 hours per shift, Monday through Friday, 4/10 hour shifts, with call responsibilities including 1 weekend per month and 1 to 2 nights per week.
• Additional Information: Up to a week of orientation with a peer, including call, to familiarize with medical record systems and departmental workflows. Orientation includes non-billable hours. The department operates with a nurse-to-patient ratio of a minimum of 1 nurse per cath lab team of 4. The department consists of 6 cath suites, including dedicated EP bi-plane, hybrid rooms, cath, and IR suites. No floating to other units is required. Candidates must be willing to wait for the license submission process.
