Ensure compliance with health and safety standards.Inventory Management: Assist in monitoring food stock, report shortages, and ensure all supplies are kept at proper levels.Collaboration: Work closely with dietary managers, dietitians, and other kitchen staff to ensure all food is prepared to the highest quality standards and meets residents' needs. Menu Planning Support: Assist in menu planning by providing input on seasonal ingredients, resident preferences, and special dietary needs.Resident Interaction: Occasionally serve meals to residents and ensure their dining experience is pleasant.Cleaning: Ensure all kitchen and dining areas are cleaned, sanitized, and organized at the end of each shift.QualificationsRequirements of the Cook position:High School DiplomaAbility to read, write, and understand directions in the English language.Must be able to perform physical activities, climbing, sitting, stooping, lifting wet and dry, pushing, walking, standing, and reaching.
