Job Description:

The School District of Mauston is seeking candidates for a fully certified Montessori Teacher in our Mauston Montessori Charter School. Candidates must:

• Be proficient in a Montessori Philosophies & Model of Instruction
• Be able to develop a personalized learning plan for each child
• Have skills in designing and implementing engaging instruction through Montessori practices
• Exhibit strength in positive problem solving and collaboration in a professional learning community atmosphere
• Knowledge of The Science of Reading and Wisconsin Act 20 requirements

Qualifications:

Candidates must be able to plan and prepare high-level, creative learning units that are engaging, relevant, and address student needs. Candidates need to be able to maintain a safe, respectful classroom environment and make a positive and substantial contribution to the school and district. Candidates must have a valid Wisconsin DPI Teaching License and a desire to become proficient in Montessori programming. Must pass a drug test and background check upon offer of employment.
