What We’re Looking For An experienced and licensed Massage Therapist to join our team of skilled practitioners, offering the latest techniques and treatments to help clients achieve optimal health and wellness. Ideally, you bring a natural talent for understanding clients’ needs through both their verbal and non‑verbal cues, adapt treatments and processes to suit the individual, and follow our protocol for lymphatic drainage that aids in detoxification, swelling, immune system, and improving overall well‑being. Our goal is to identify a committed member who will embrace our practice ethics and bring positive energy. What You’ll Do : Perform massage therapy services utilizing the appropriate therapeutic techniques according to treatment booking (Swedish, deep tissue + additional services such as Thai massage is a plus!) Instruct clients on additional at‑home methods, including Sage + Sound retail, to improve wellness, such as exercises, product implementation and relaxation techniques. Provide detailed explanations of benefits of massage therapy aftercare instructions to clients and guidance on how to maintain benefits between sessions, including hydration and activities. Recommend products and additional services to clients as appropriate. Follow all policies and protocols related to client safety, privacy, and satisfaction, while maintaining a safe and therapeutic environment for patients, adhering to infection control protocols and safety standards. Proactively stay updated with the latest research and developments in massage therapy techniques Keep up to date with any and all required NYS massage therapy licenses About You: (required) Minimum of 3+ yrs professional experience providing massage therapy Client‑building relations, retention, and communications skills are required Demonstrated sales of massage‑related services and customer service skills. Must have liability insurance Time management abilities for 60min, 75min and 90min treatment sessions Valid NYS massage therapy license Prior training, certification, and experience in prenatal massage therapy (opt) Excellent massage technique with a gentle touch and thorough knowledge of anatomy Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with clients Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed Commitment to maintaining highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation Reliable with strong work ethic Physical & Mental Demands: The physical and mental demands described here are representative of those that must be met by a massage therapist to successfully perform the essential functions of this position.
