What You Bring No machining experience? No problem. We’ll train you. Here’s what helps you succeed: High School Diploma or equivalent Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment (preferred) Ability to read simple drawings Basic shop math (geometry, trigonometry, feed/speed calculations) Ability to use calipers, micrometers, and other measuring tools Strong attendance and reliability Ability to read, write, and speak English Ability to operate material‑handling equipment Willingness to learn and be coachable Key Competencies High integrity and honesty Care for people, resources, and safety Curiosity and innovation Commitment to excellence and continuous improvement Strong execution, teamwork, and communication Goal‑oriented mindset Work Environment Noise, heat, odors Metalworking machinery Welding operations Forklifts, cranes, and moving equipment PPE is required (safety glasses, steel‑toe boots, hearing protection, gloves). Schedule Training: Day shift, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM Reliable attendance is essential. Physical Requirements Able to stand and walk on concrete floors for extended periods throughout the shift, with frequent movement between machines and workstations Able to use hands and fingers for repetitive tasks such as loading and unloading parts, operating machine controls, handling tools, and performing inspections Able to frequently bend, stoop, crouch, kneel, twist, and reach (including above shoulder height and below waist level) to access materials, fixtures, and machine components Able to lift, carry, push, and/or pull materials and parts weighing up to 50 pounds, with or without assistance, on an occasional to frequent basis Able to perform repetitive motions throughout the shift, including part handling and precision measurement tasks Visual acuity sufficient to read small numbers, measurements, drawings, digital displays, and inspection tools, with or without corrective lenses Able to distinguish fine details and identify defects, surface conditions, or tool wear Able to hear machine sounds, alarms, and verbal instructions in a manufacturing environment, with or without assistive devices Able to safely work around moving mechanical equipment, forklifts, cranes, and hoists while following all safety procedures Able to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) for extended periods, including safety glasses, steel‑toed footwear, hearing protection, and gloves Able to work scheduled shifts, including swing shift hours, and maintain reliable attendance Compensation & Benefits Competitive hourly wage (based on experience) Health insurance with HSA option Dental & vision insurance Life & disability insurance 401(k) with employer match Paid vacation, sick time, and holidays Employee Assistance Plan Wellness program Join a Team That Builds More Than Equipment AGC Heat Transfer is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
