Job DescriptionWe are seeking a 4th year Audiology Extern for May/June 2027-2028.\n*Resumes accepted through September 30, 2026.\n\n\nCompany Description\nMemphis Hearing Aid and Audiological Services has an over 40 year history of providing thorough and thoughtful hearing healthcare to the Mid-South community. We are an audiologist owned private practice with 7 full or part time offices, 8 full time audiologists, plus an Audiology Extern and an Audiology Assistant.\n\nRole Description\nThis is a full-time position for an Audiology Extern at Memphis Hearing Aid and Audiological Services in Germantown, TN.\n\nAs an Audiology Extern, you will be responsible for conducting diagnostic testing, assisting audiologists in hearing aid selection and fittings, and providing support in patient care and counseling. Our goal is to prepare you for a career of your own in Private Practice. We teach you how to get patients hearing better and keep it that way. As a clinic we pride ourselves on competitive but fair pricing structures, great follow up care, and minimizing patient repairs needed with our well equipped on site lab.\n\nTarget start May or June 2026.\n\n\nQualifications\n-Completion of third year towards Doctorate degree in Audiology (by start date)\n-Knowledge of audiology testing procedures and equipment\n-Passion for helping adults with hearing loss\n-Strong communication and interpersonal skills\n-Experience counseling patients and family members with regards to care and maintenance of hearing aids as well as communication strategies\n-Detail-oriented nature and ability to work effectively in a team\n-Currently resides in or is willing to relocate for a year to the Memphis, TN area\n\n\nBenefits\nPaid externship for 12 months\nOne week vacation included\nSick time included\n\nWebsite : Email View email address on click.appcast.io for more information\n
