Registered Nurse - Endoscopy

Employment Type: Full time Shift: Day Shift Description: Trinity Health Grand Rapids Endoscopy Unit is a 12-bed unit that has 4 procedure rooms. Summary: The Registered Nurse facilitates relationship-centered, compassionate, quality care to patients through competent clinical practice and the application of the healing art and science of professional nursing. What you will work: Full time 36 hours per week 7a - 4:30p Magnet designated facility with active shared decision making councils. Daily Pay Options What you will do: Preparation of patients before endoscopy procedure. Instruct patients about at-home prep for endoscopy procedures. As part of the procedural team, you will be assisting the physician during various endoscopy procedures. Provide nurse sedation during a procedure. Post-operative management and discharge of patients in the endoscopy unit Clean endoscopes according to manufacturer instructions. What you will need: Graduation from an accredited Nursing school and program Associate's degree in nursing required, BSN preferred. In Grand Rapids if ADN must enroll in BSN program within 6 months of hire and complete in 4 years of hire Licensed in the State of Michigan Current BLS RN experience in a health care setting.
