Job Title

Under the supervision of the Clinical Manager, will actively assist in coordination of the day-to-day activities in the assigned Service Line.

Job Description

The Coordinator takes a leading role in servicing orienting new staff, performance improvement, scheduling, and working with physicians for improved outcome, and precepts new employees. The Technical Coordinator ensures effective communication with the physicians, circulating nurses, surgical technicians, ancillary staff, and patients to maintain an environment conducive to the patients well-being.

Required Qualifications

Good Organizational SkillsAcute Care ExperienceBLS Certification from American Heart Association.

• Must possess the skill, knowledge and ability essential to the successful performance of assigned duties
• Must demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the job
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the Health System

Preferred Qualifications

• Surgical Tech CertificateMinimum 5 years experience in Service Line assigned toGraduate from Accredited Surgical Tech ProgramCompletion of medical terminology class or knowledge of medical terms. Computer knowledgeHigh School Diploma or GED
• Knowledge of University and medical center organizations, policies, procedures and forms
