Job Description

About the Role:

A Place at Home-South Bay is looking for compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to join our team for weekend shifts in Rancho Palos Verdes, CA! This is a wonderful opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of seniors and individuals who need support in the comfort of their own homes. If you have a heart for helping others and are looking for rewarding weekend work, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

Provide personal care assistance including bathing, grooming, dressing, and hygiene support
Assist clients with mobility, transfers, and ambulation as needed
Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding when necessary
Perform light housekeeping duties including laundry, tidying, and errands
Offer companionship and emotional support to clients and their families
Monitor and document changes in client health, behavior, or condition
Assist with medication reminders and follow care plans as directed

Requirements:

Prior caregiving, home health aide (HHA), or certified nursing assistant (CNA) experience preferred
Availability to work weekend shifts (Saturday and/or Sunday)
Reliable transportation and valid driver's license preferred
Compassionate, patient, and dependable demeanor
Ability to pass a background check and provide references
Strong communication skills and ability to follow written care plans
CPR/First Aid certification is a plus
