Therapist - Speech Language Pathologist

Job Description

Job Summary:
Provide comprehensive speech and language therapy services to pediatric and adult patients, assessing and treating communication and swallowing disorders in a outpatient and inpatient setting. Collaborate with healthcare teams and families to develop individualized care plans and ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients' speech, language, voice, and cognitive functions.
• Develop, implement, and modify treatment plans based on patient evaluations and progress.
• Provide therapy sessions to improve communication skills and address fluency or voice disorders.
• Supervise and mentor assistants, aides, and students in clinical practice.
• Adhere to all regulatory guidelines, safety protocols, and privacy policies.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers to facilitate understanding and cooperation.

Qualifications:

• Licensed Speech Language Pathologist (SP-Licensed).
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA or ARC.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant recent experience in pediatric and adult settings.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends if required.
• Strong communication, assessment, and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of local, state, and federal healthcare regulations.
