Job Title Assistant Store Manager Location & Compensation Work Location: Old Bridge, New Jersey, United States of America Hours: 40 per week Pay: $29.75 – $44.50 USD per hour Overview The Assistant Store Manager leads day‑to‑day service, sales, and operational objectives at a TD store. The role drives customer relationships, delivers the TD model of convenience, sales, and advice, and differentiates with a personalized, connected experience. Responsibilities Lead a team of advice and service colleagues to achieve individual and store objectives that result in legendary customer and colleague experiences. Provide day‑to‑day team leadership and work direction for personalized and complex service and advice activities while maintaining compliance and regulatory guidelines. Oversee the most complex or diverse sales‑advice activities that involve complete multi‑step processes across systems, partners and complexity. Coaching, observing, and escalating advisor performance to ensure proactive advice and product recommendations based on customer needs. Drive advice behaviors by coaching the team on consulting strategies, product and services acumen, and work‑direction for weekly, quarterly, and annual objectives. Deliver end‑to‑end advice to customers, providing information and tools for financial management and real‑time insights. Identify advice opportunities and referrals that support business growth and community outreach activities. Manage store operations, including teller and platform compliance, cash management, vault audits, and operational excellence initiatives. Qualifications Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience. Minimum 2 years of customer‑ or sales‑related experience; supervisory or leadership experience preferred. Proven ability to provide legendary customer service and strong verbal and written communication skills. Sales and operational management skills and ability to manage competing priorities. Knowledge of banking products and services preferred; experience in consumer and residential lending preferred. Proficiency with Microsoft Office. Demonstrated organization, interpersonal, communication and decision‑making skills. Proven expense‑management proficiency. Notary license preferred. Active NMLS registration required upon hire for loan originator responsibilities.
