Customer Service Representative/Account Specialist

Location: Lake Forest, CA (Onsite)
Pay: $25.00 per hour
Job Type: Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire

Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented, and fast-paced Customer Service Representative to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and enjoys managing multiple priorities.

The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, advanced Microsoft Excel capabilities, and the ability to coordinate shipments, support customer accounts, and collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams.

We are seeking candidates with direct experience in managing customer accounts and experience within an office environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Communicate with customers via email and phone regarding orders, updates, and inquiries
• Receive, process, and enter customer orders accurately
• Coordinate closely with Sales and Purchasing teams
• Plan and schedule shipments, including international lead times
• Generate and maintain short-term and long-term (12-month) forecasting reports
• Provide shipping updates and order status to customers
• Issue customer credits and manage RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) processes
• Maintain and update customer requests in internal systems
• Analyze inventory needs and forecast for reservation planning
• Respond to product inquiries from customers and sales representatives
• Gather project and technical information from customers and coordinate internally
• Prepare and submit formal quotes to customers
• Process sample orders
• Support Account Managers and Outside Sales Representatives in securing purchase orders
• Assist with implementation of operational procedures
• Perform additional duties as needed based on business needs

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (required)
• Minimum of 2+ years of experience in:
• Customer service
• Inside sales
• Account management
• Business development
• Customer support
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with SAP ERP systems
• Experience in:
• Demand and supply forecasting
• Order fulfillment
• Shipment planning with overseas lead times
• Familiarity with EDI systems

Work Schedule

• Monday – Friday
• 7:30am-4:30pm OR 9am-6pm. Once direct, employees will have the option for rotating work from home on Fridays.
