The Site Foreman will oversee and coordinate the daily activities on a construction site, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. Site Foreman is responsible for managing a crew of construction workers, enforcing safety regulations, and working closely with the superintendents, subcontractors, and crews to achieve project goals

Position Description

Responsibilities:

Supervision and Leadership:

• • Oversee the day-to-day operations on a construction site.
  • Lead and supervise a team of workers to ensure they adhere to safety guidelines, quality standards, and project timelines.
  • Delegate tasks to both English and Spanish speaking team members.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative working environment to enhance productivity and morale.

Quality Control:

• • Enforce quality control measures to ensure work meets project specifications and industry standards.
  • Conduct regular inspections and address any issues or deficiencies promptly.

Safety Compliance:

• • Enforce safety protocols and regulations that all team members adhere to safety regulations.
  • Conduct regular safety meetings and training sessions.
  • Investigate and report accidents or incidents promptly.

Resource Management:

• Coordinate the allocation of resources, including labor, equipment, and materials to meet project requirements.

Communication:

• • Communicate effectively with project managers, superintendents, clients, inspectors, and testing companies.
  • Communicate project updates, changes, and expectations to the team.

Problem Solving:

• • Address and resolve issues that may arise during construction, such as material shortages, equipment breakdowns, or staffing problems, while minimizing project delays.
  • Collaborate with superintendents to find effective solutions.

Documentation:

• • Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including daily logs, progress reports, and change orders.
  • Submit daily timesheets

Training and Development:

• Provide training for new team members and ensure that existing staff members receive ongoing training as needed.
• Foster a learning environment to enhance skills and knowledge within the team.

Position Requirements

Skills, Knowledge, Qualifications, & Experience:

Qualifications:

• Experience - Minimum of five (5) years of experience in construction, with at least two (2) years in supervisory or foreman role.
• Education - High school diploma or equivalent; trade certifications or technical training in construction management or a related field is a plus.

Skills:

• In-depth knowledge of construction procedures, equipment, and safety guidelines.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Problem solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills

Physical Requirements:

• The role may involve standing, walking, and working in various weather conditions.
• The ability to lift and carry moderately heavy loads may be required.
• Comfortable working at heights or in confined spaces
