About the Position

Job Title: Travel RN - Cath Lab Profession: RN Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00 - 17:30 Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: RN License required Certifications: ACLS, BLS required Must-Have: Cath Lab experience Structural Heart experience IABP, Impella, IFR, FFR experience Description: Travel RN position available in the Cardiac Cath Lab. This position requires a minimum of 2 years of Cath Lab experience. The shift is from 07:00 to 17:30. The department has 7 holding beds. Patient ratios align with standard care practices. Unit staffing includes access to unit secretaries and technician support. Type of equipment used includes GE Innova and Impella devices. Documentation is completed using MacLab and Meditech systems. The schedule includes self-scheduling options with floating policies within the department. Expect approximately 10 to 12 days of STEMI call per month. Advanced skills in PCI, PFO closures, and the use of Impella and IABP are required. Procedures performed include TAVR, PFO closure, atherectomy, PCI, and R/L heart catheterization. A surgical scrub uniform is provided by the facility. Established policies and guidelines will be provided upon employment. Candidates should be aware of awards and recognition the department has received, including Daisy and Sunflower Awards. The facility is recognized for exceptional care and includes advanced services for critically ill patients. Consideration for new equipment, technology, and the experience of staff is emphasized to attract potential candidates.
