Fabrication Manager

We are seeking a hands‑on Fabrication Manager to oversee daily shop operations, production scheduling, quality, inventory, and fabrication personnel in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment. About the Role Lead and supervise fabrication shop personnel, ensuring safety, quality, and productivity standards are met. Responsibilities Manage daily production schedules and workflow to ensure projects are completed on time Read and interpret blueprints, fabrication drawings, and work orders Coordinate labor, materials, equipment, and resources to support production goals Monitor quality throughout the fabrication process and implement corrective actions as needed Work closely with project management, engineering, purchasing, and installation teams Oversee inventory levels, material usage, and shop organization Train, mentor, and develop fabrication personnel Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, throughput, and overall shop performance Assist with hands‑on fabrication and troubleshooting when necessary Qualifications 5+ years of fabrication, manufacturing, or shop management experience Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings Experience managing fabrication schedules, manpower, and production priorities Proven leadership experience supervising shop personnel Knowledge of welding, metal fabrication, assembly, and manufacturing processes Strong organizational and problem‑solving skills Proficient with Microsoft Office and production tracking systemsAbility to work effectively in a fast‑paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Preferred Skills Custom fabrication, architectural products, signage, millwork, or specialty manufacturing experience Inventory management and purchasing coordination Continuous improvement and process optimization initiatives Customer‑facing experience and project coordination Pay range and compensation package Competitive salary based on experience Performance bonus opportunities Health, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off and holidays Career growth opportunities within a growing organization Equal Opportunity Statement If you are a hands‑on leader who enjoys building teams, improving processes, and delivering high-quality work, we encourage you to apply. #J-18808-Ljbffr
