Sr Planning Manager

We are looking for a Sr Planning Manager to join our Supply Chain Planning team to play a vital role in managing transformation and improvements in production scheduling and raw material planning. What's in it For You: * Opportunity for a long-term career path that allows for exposure to all areas of Ecolab's Supply Chain * Access to best-in-class resources, tools, and technology * Thrive in a company that values personal and professional development, sustainability, drives a safety-focused culture and has been recognized as one of the most ethical companies in the world What You Will Do: * Develop and execute strategies for production and raw material planning in our key manufacturing plants. * Lead and coach the production scheduling and raw material planning organization to deliver business results and build a collaborative, inclusive team environment. * Responsible for end‑to‑end production and raw material planning execution across North American manufacturing sites. * Own service performance KPIs, plant‑level planning execution, and cross‑functional alignment across operations, procurement, logistics, customer service, and business units. * Serve as the primary escalation point and representative of production and raw material planning in S&OP, RCCP, and network‑wide forums, translating demand signals into executable supply plans while managing risk, constraints, and short‑term disruptions. * Provide leadership presence in key operating mechanisms (e.g., DOM/WOM rhythms, planning reviews, OGSM performance discussions), ensuring the planning voice is represented and actions are driven to closure. * Lead/facilitate cross-functional reviews to evaluate performance, remove barriers, and drive decisions that protect customer service and improve planning outcomes. * Lead key S&OP discussions with business leaders in relation to the PRMP Service metrics, and ensuring constraints, tradeoffs, and recovery plans are clearly understood and executed. * Serve as the escalation point for complex planning issues impacting service, inventory, and production efficiency; drive timely decisions that balance customer needs, operational constraints, and financial outcomes. * Partner with Supply Planning and Plant leadership to improve long-term planning stability and execution through stronger visibility, prioritization, and cross-functional alignment. * Identify and execute opportunities to streamline planning processes, reduce waste, and improve overall supply chain performance through continuous improvement and disciplined problem solving (e.g., root cause, corrective action, standard work). * Act as a change agent by implementing best practices that improve key reporting metrics and strengthen end-to-end planning performance. * Reinforce consistent performance management routines (e.g., backlog reviews, SIFOT failure reviews, monthly OGSM preparation), driving accountability and sustained results. * Lead overall talent development for the production and raw material planning organization; coach, train, and develop direct reports and broader team members, including continuous improvement of planning capability and bench strength. * Drive performance management routines, including goal-setting, feedback, and development planning to build planning excellence and career growth. Minimum Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or related field of study. * 5-8 years of experience in supply chain planning * Demonstrated leadership capability (direct people leadership and/or strong coaching influence across teams). * Strong written and verbal executive communication skills * Strong leadership, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to drive decisions and build consensus across stakeholders. * Ability to create, clearly articulate, and execute on a strategic vision; strong business acumen and cross-functional collaboration skills. * Immigration sponsorship not available for this role * Strong business-to-business process improvement experience Preferred Qualifications * Effective interpersonal skills to drive consensus and influence among business stakeholders * Experience with existing planning and forecasting application (FST, JDA) * High level proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite * Proficiency in SAP, specifically Materials Management (MM) and Production Planning (PP) modules * Previous project management experience, including Lean Six Sigma and/or Green Belt certification * Ability to create healthy tensions, manage and effectively manage risks and opportunities with plant and supply chain leadership teams. Annual or Hourly Compensation Range The base salary range for this position is $133,700.00 - $200,600.00. This position is eligible for annual bonus pay based on performance, per plan terms.
