Job Title: Certified Surgical Technologist – CVOR
Location: Salem, VA
Type: Full-Time/ Direct Hire
Pay Rate:
$24.87–$34.82/hr (OR Tech)
$27.36–$38.30/hr (CVOR Tech)
Schedule: Days | Rotating Weekends
Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM / 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM
Sign-On Bonus: $15,000

Position Overview:

Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking Certified Surgical Technologist – CVOR for an exciting Travel or Local job in Salem, VA.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain sterile surgical environments
• Scrub and assist during cardiovascular and general surgical procedures
• Demonstrate knowledge of surgical instrumentation and sterile techniques
• Assist with C-sections and related surgical procedures
• Accurately register and pre-register Obstetric patients
• Process patient information using hospital computer systems
• Perform infant testing and related tasks as directed by the RN
• Communicate professionally with physicians, nurses, patients, and staff
• Maintain equipment and ensure surgical suite readiness
• Support patient safety and infection prevention protocols

Required Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program
• Active Surgical Technician license in the State of Virginia
• Registration with the State of Virginia
• BLS certification within 90 days of employment
• Knowledge of medical terminology
• Basic computer proficiency
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to meet physical requirements of the role

Additional Notes

• OR Tech candidates will also be considered
• Candidates must have completed a Surgical Tech program and hold Virginia Surgical Tech licensure
