International Procurement Center Manager

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform following list of essential functions below which includes but is not limited to:

Scouting

• Actively source new technology partners following our internal scouting framework

• Attend industry events (meetup, partner events, conferences, etc.)

• Reach out and meet with potential partners (startups, companies, etc.)

• Identify potential partners and report/introduce them to the HQ for collaboration opportunities

• Connect with internal teams to identify areas of interest to focus scouting efforts

• Communicate clearly with startups, companies, universities, or research centers about expectations, goals, and status of different projects

Reporting

• Continually update multiple internal documentation to reflect latest state of affairs and knowledge. Prepare presentations/reports to show scouting results to internal teams

• Prepare due diligence reports to assess and compare potential partners

• Research, analyze and prepare reports to share market trends

• Craft intelligence presentations to share scouting knowledge

• Elaborate new frameworks to synthesize new insights

• Coordinate projects with internal and external stakeholders

• General support of IPC intelligence needs

Procurement

• Actively communicate with key suppliers to find if any procurement related (lead time, delivery schedules, etc.) issue occur

• As a part of SCM Risk management team, actively seek and report out to HQ if national disaster occurs

QUALIFICATIONS

Education/Training and Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree or higher in Engineering or equivalent work experience

• Full proficiency in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint

• Outstanding verbal and written communication and influence skills

• Self-starter with analytical and business acumen

• Possess strong organizational, time-management skills

• Multitask and prioritize workload and determine priorities

• Detailed-oriented and results-driven

• Ability to identify and articulate useful problem statements, user needs, use cases

• Generate spreadsheets, reports, data and other information for presentations

• Strong written and verbal communication skill in English/Korean is required
