Senior HR Generalist - Columbia, MD

Collaborate with HR colleagues in HR Operations, Learning & Development, and Recruiting, to identify and implement high impact projects. Provide guidance to leadership on emerging trends, compliance requirements, and initiatives to enhance employee engagement Provide onboarding support through content creation, coordination, and ongoing maintenance of materials and processes. Assist with workforce planning, staffing needs, and hiring tracking, and hiring activities. Develop and maintain a job skills matrix for all position categories, outlining required skills, competencies, and qualifications for each level. Develop, update and maintain job descriptions and draft professional, consistent job postings Assess organizational training needs and evaluate the effectiveness and utilization of learning resources. Ensure adherence to organizational, federal, state, and local compliance requirements; proactively identify and mitigate risk Maintain accurate, comprehensive, and up‑to‑date employee records across all HR systems.
