Pepe's Mexican Restaurant Server and Bartender Position

Pepe's Mexican Restaurant is seeking service-driven individuals to join our team as Servers and Bartenders. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering an exceptional guest experience through attentive service, accurate order execution, and strong menu knowledge. This position plays a critical role in creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring efficient restaurant operations.

Job Responsibilities

• Greet guests in a friendly and welcoming manner
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently
• Serve food and drinks in a timely manner
• Provide menu recommendations and answer guest questions
• Process payments using proper cash-handling procedures
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of service and bar areas
• Assist with opening and closing duties as assigned
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations
• Follow all food safety and sanitation standards

Qualifications

• Valid ATC Permit (or ability to obtain)
• Strong customer service and communication skills

• Basic math and cash-handling skills
• Strong time management and multitasking abilities
• Knowledge of food safety standards

Preferred (Not Required)

• Previous serving or bartending experience
• Experience in the food and beverage or hospitality industry
• Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems
• Knowledge of menu items, beverages, and basic culinary practices
