Electrical Estimator – Philadelphia Suburbs

Growing electrical contractor is seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator to join their team in the Philadelphia suburbs. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys the estimating process, working with project teams, and helping win profitable work.

Responsibilities:

Prepare detailed estimates for commercial, industrial, and institutional electrical projects
Review plans, specifications, and bid documents
Perform quantity takeoffs and develop accurate material and labor estimates
Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and vendor pricing
Prepare competitive bids and proposals
Work closely with project managers, engineers, and clients
Track bids and assist with project handoff after award

Qualifications:

3+ years of electrical estimating experience
Strong understanding of electrical systems, materials, and construction practices
Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and specifications
Experience with estimating software, Excel, and related tools
Strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills
